A banking industry veteran, Shannon began her career in 1997 as a consumer loan quality control analyst, advancing her career to commercial lending as a junior underwriter, and eventually moved on to residential mortgage lending. Shannon joined Jovia Financial Credit Union (formally NEFCU) in 2011 and has been a Residential Mortgage Loan Officer since 2016. During her tenured role, she originated loans for members on single and multi-family homes and condos for primary residences, vacation homes and investment properties.

Now Shannon has been elevated to Senior Home Loan Consultant for Evolve Bank & Trust, a national best-in-class financial service institution. As a Senior Home Loan Consultant, she now has the ability to lend in all 50 states and can now offer a menu of lending options ranging from Veteran, FHA, Renovation Loans (203K's), Multi-family Investment, First Time Home Buyer, Co-Op's, & much more.

Shannon takes great pride in helping families purchase their first home and realize their dream of home ownership. Since most borrowers are first-time buyers who have previously been renting or living with family, her customers feel fulfilled to have a place of their own to raise a family in privacy and with the peace of mind that comes from having a profitable long-term investment that can be passed on to their children in the future.

During her spare time, Shannon mentors women newly or re-joining the workforce, participating with non-profits such as Dress For Success. In addition, she holds title as Co-Chair of Winning On Wednesday, a networking group for entrepreneurs.

Shannon holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Finance with a minor in Business Management from SUNY Old Westbury. She lives on eastern Long Island with her husband and their daughter, along with several rescue cats. In her free time, Shannon enjoys hiking, scuba diving, reading, networking, spending time with family, bike riding and traveling. She also volunteers for several non-profit organizations, including Save-A-Pet Rescue in Port Jeff, The Humane Society of the US and Dress for Success.
